This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.
You don’t have to read that part.

The floor to this room is sticky and difficult to move through.

The air here is pungent with rot and spoiled meat.

There is a pillar of stone to the west. It is surrounded by the discarded remains of past Visceranga meals.

There is an alcove hidden behind the pillar in the western wall where the Visceranga nests. Inside is a nearly matured Visceranga still in its amniotic sac.

If the adventurers don’t find it or deal with it, it will spawn in a couple of days and be very hungry. So keep this in mind, should the players leave the dungeon for a break and come back.

Among the debris around the pillar is a coin purse with 65 gold pieces and a receipt for a wager on horse race. It’s a winner and has the remains of a lipstick kiss on it.

Well shit.

Today we were supposed to drive to Chicago. We did not make it.

The weather got crazy and driving up I-65 became a dangerous proposition.

So we’re stuck at Gail’s parents house, which is just wasting the time we need to get shit done in Chicago. It’s all annoying.

As I write this I’ve got a Lifetime movie on in the background. “My Nightmare Office Affair.” Lifetime makes the best junk movies. Always entertaining.

I want to finish it and see the awful decisions will make, but I really need to wake up ass early tomorrow to make up some of the time we’ve lost.

The picture for this blogpost is pretty cool. Sometimes AI kicks ass.

See you tomorrow.
