B6.
This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.
You don’t have to read that part.
B6.
The door to this room is barricaded shut. Do not enter.
Inside you’ll find the remains of an adventurer, a victim of the Necromancer. You’ll notice first that the top half of the adventurer’s head is split open. Their brain is…not inside.
Skittering around this dark room is a brain with a umbilical like tail, and cloudy white spider legs. It may sneak up on you from the ceiling.
It’s tail has a stinger that will plug into your brain stem, and begin the process of turning your brain into a creature just like it. If it is succesfull you’ll walk around in a daze for about a day before your skull splits open and a new Brain Spider pops out.
This was a kind of trojan horse tactic by the Necromancer, but the goblins saw it coming thanks to Brunda the Seer. Go Brunda.
The adventurer has a coin purse with a green stone with a rune carved into it. A keen mind would recognize it as a ward against spicey foods. With it one can eat the spiciest of dishes, and it will only register as mild.

I dunno. I just told my son my brain is about to fall out of my brain. Not a typo.
My brain will fall out of… my brain. So this is what we get.
I’ve been driving nearly all day. From 7 am to 9:30 pm. And that’s after driving 7 hours the day previous. I don’t know what day it is and the date is right there two paragraphs up.
Oh. We bought a house today. That happened. Gail took a moment and sat in a swing in the backyard. It felt nice. And then I drove back to Chicago.
It sucked. And I think my car has a problem. And I just need it to make this fucking trip one more time this Friday and we’re set.
Yo what the fuck even is this room I made up? Ward against spicy foods? I’m going to read this tomorrow and shake my head.
See you tomorrow.
