B17.

This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.
You don’t have to read that part.

B17.

A map using the DungeonScrawl website. Check it out.

This room is watched over by an old plump goblin named Blerba. If the goblins in B14 are attacked or she is alerted to your presence, she will enter this room and barricade herself inside.

This room reeks of death and is darker than the devil’s pillow.

The northern and southern walls of this room are lined with stalls for horses. The eastern end of the room has been cut off by a wall of stone.

Outside of each stall is a pile of bones and gore in various stages of decomposition.

Lighting torches in here to see creates a cacophony of muffled screeches.

In each stall is what appears to be lumpy human bodies, their flesh is flaccid in certain areas as if they’ve been deflated. You can see a crude stitch running up the center of their torso.

Inside of these human sacks are young goblins, being born into existence from the dark recesses of chaos. The process is that an adult goblin is stitched up inside the human flesh and melds with Chaos to create a “litter” of more devilish goblins.

If you get killed or captured down here you are probably going to brought here to be…. emptied.

If you open one of these sacks before they’re ripe, you will see the edges of Chaos and be blinded. Make some kind of roll of the dice to save against this.

BLERBA

  • Protects the young at all costs.

  • Can predict how many goblins your flesh will produce.

  • Master of the Chaos Hound that prowls this space. Imagine an inside-out dog that can make you fear the dark with every bite.

This is the product of unholy alchemy.

2/17/23

Well I said a couple posts ago that our adventurers were going to wander into this mess.

It’s not pretty.

….

..

That’s all I got today.

See you tomorrow.
