C21.
This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.
You don’t have to read that part.
C21.
The walls here are covered in a glowing blue mushroom. Intelligent adventurers with the proper background or learning may recognize these mushrooms as Ceruleorus.
This is the same fungus used in the potion discovered in B26. If you have the potion on your person you’ll see slight movements from the fungus as though they’re leaning in your direction.
If you’ve imbibed the potion you will be smell something vile and feel a sense of danger. The fungus here is communicating with you to beware of the Butazwein waiting for you in C28. Safety is to the south.
This may require some type of save on the player’s part, as they try to readjust their brain to receive these communications. Or you can just let them do it.
A player who drank the Ceruleorus extract will look faintly blue when they come in contact with other Cerulerous mushrooms. Someone with a strong sense of smell, may even recognize the air is changing as the two parties communicate using pheromones.

Thought I forgot about that fungus, huh?
Well here we go.
Also, I feel really ill. I’m freezing and everything about me feels achy. I guess I got a fever, which is lame balls.

Oh, that My Hero Academia movie was fun. That show always has outrageous, over the top climaxes, where someone goes super fucking nova on someone else. It’s great. I think they missed some opportunities sticking all the other heroes in other countries and doing almost nothing with them - but it’s 90 minutes - I get it. I just think if you’re going to make a big deal of detailing which teams are in which cities you might want to make them do something interesting there.
If you don’t watch the show, that last paragraph was absolutely worthless to you.

After My Hero, we watched another episode of Dragula on Shudder. I got into it a while back and was so impressed by the artistry on the show. For those who don’t know, Dragula is a horror themed drag show contest hosted by The Boulet Brothers. Each week contestants get a new challenge or theme that they have to tackle - and of course an elimination to avoid. The format is pretty standard, but the subject matter is really cool. Some of these queens do some wild shit that is honestly inspiring to see.
We’re currently watching the Titans season, which is basically Dragula: All-Stars. We’re only 2 episodes in, but we’ve already seen some cool costumes. There’s one episode in which everyone gives their spin on witches, that we enjoyed. If you’re wanting to spice up your witches in your D&D game, I definitely recommend giving it a look. You might find some cool concepts to inject some life into a played-out monster.
I think the only aspect I don’t enjoy about the show is the drama. None of that really interests me, and honestly makes me sad to see. So many quality artists and they spend so much time tearing each other down. We often fast forward through a lot of it, just to get to the reveal.

Okay I’m going to lay down now.
See you tomorrow.
