B20.

This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.
You don’t have to read that part.

Regular flies generally don’t live very long. So all the dead flies have been swept into this room by the goblins, where they’re stored for future meals.

Inside you’ll find large piles of dead flies. Just mounds of them

Gurlp, an Ashfoot goblin, will be present in this room eating their fill.

Gurlp

  • Jittery and uncomfortable.

  • Wants to serve Inosh, but is terrified to go down the third level.

  • Will try to talk the party into taking them down to the third level through the hole in B16. “There’s treasures we left behind. Diamonds and gold!” All bullshit.

  • Has a journal that they try to keep hidden, and will read when no one is looking. It’s written in Chaos and is filled with prayers to Inosh.

2/20/23

Went to my old university today. The place where I learned how to be an actor and more importantly the place where I met Gail, my bestest friend in the world.

My old professor, who really held me accountable and believed that I could do well as an actor, gave us a tour. He really changed my life all those years ago, and we’re really excited to be neighbors now.

So a lot of memories tonight. I might share some tomorrow when I have a little more time to write.

But the evening really did energize me more - revisiting the place that really gave my creativity a space to grow and a direction to go.

See you tomorrow.
