This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.

B10.
Secret Room!
Opening the door to this room cause the water that’s been building up to rush down the large gaping hole in this secret room’s center.
The floor here has given way through erosion.
The walls of the hole are craggy and slick, making them hard to climb. It extends deep down to an area on level C.
Shining a torch reveals the glimmer of a large diamond wedged in the rocky walls of the hole.
There was treasure in this room. And whatever was in here must be at the bottom of this hole.
Riding to my new house on a… polar bull?
2/10/23
It’s late and I’m using a hotspot to write this because despite my best efforts AT&T still managed to fuck up my schedule. They said everything will be ready today. Instead, they don’t ship the device I need until today.
But fuck all that. What’s more important is that I am currently laying on the floor of what will be my studio. It’s empty for now. The movers deliver tomorrow.
This is it. This is where I’m going to make the magic that will fulfill my life. And this is the first one. The rest of the treasure is at the bottom of that hole somewhere, and we’re going to find it.
What a day. It hasn’t sunk in yet. The new house feels terribly foreign. But we’ll have more time to talk about that later. Tonight I’m going to sleep the best sleep I’ve had in weeks.
