A15.
This is part of the #Dungeon23 challenge in which you make one room to a dungeon every day for a year. In an effort to link my memories to the creation, I am also writing a personal journal entry with each room that may or may not be related.
You don’t have to read that part.
A15.
This area is outside of the fortress but walled in by the surrounding cavern. It is only accessible through two windows, one located in A18, and another in A22.
It is dark save for the light from room A22.
The narrow passage formed by the rock wall and the north eastern corner of A18, is narrow with a low ceiling. One would have to get on their knees and crawl through, one at a time, to get by.
The terrain here is uneven boulders and would be considered “difficult”.

Just a cheeky little corridor that could allow characters “secret” access to two different spaces. But it could be gnarly if you get caught. Difficult terrain, and a passage that requires you to go prone to pass.

Watched some UFC and ate some buns from a Chinese bakery that a friend brought over.
So pretty good night.
This afternoon I played some D&D in person, and it was nice to not be the DM for once. Just chill and let someone else deal with the problems.
I decided before the game to be just a guy. I rolled up a character like I was a Bard but cut out any weapon use or spell abilities. No bardic inspiration. Just a guy with skills. But if people got sick of me being a regular person I could quickly turn them into a full Bard with little work.
Did I roll 3d6 down the line for my Attributes?
Yes I did.
We were level 4. I think we fought a Balrog for a little bit.
I mean. I sat in a barrel and watched the others fight a Balrog.
Which was fun for me. I just wanted to survive.
Honestly, I think this is how I’ll play 5e from now on. I just like seeing how long a character like that can last.
Anyway.
See you tomorrow.
